Pulaski Democrats, Looking Ahead To 2012!
Pulaski Democrats did their part in 2011, working hard to send State Senator Phillip Puckett back to Richmond for another session. Thanks to your efforts, we ensured that Democrats and Republicans will be forced to share power and work together moving forward. At the local level, Democrats were successful in all of the constitutional officer races on the ballot. Joe Sheffey of the Cloyd District and Dean Pratt of the Draper District were also re-elected to the Board of Supervisors. As we look ahead, we have much work to do headed into the critical federal races next year.
As we look forward to 2012, Democrats are going to fight as hard as ever to do what’s right for people, and that starts here in Pulaski County. This will be a key year for our party, with the White House, a U.S. Senate seat, and the 9th Congressional District seat on the ballot. Less than a year from now, voters will go to the polls. Your participation in every aspect of this process will help ensure our continued success as a party. Now is the time to get involved and make sure your voice is heard.
